CAEP Accountability Measures

CAEP has four accountability measures that are shared publicly and updated annually.

2020-2021 Data limitations due to COVID-19
Ohio ordered school-building closures and subsequent emergency legislation addressing the coronavirus pandemic-related issues which had substantial impacts on state testing during the 2020-2021 school year. As a result, OTES/OPES and Value-added data are limited.

Measure 2: Satisfaction of 雇主 and Stakeholder involvement

The Ohio Department of Higher 教育 (ODHE) previously distributed and collected an annual Employer Perceptions of Ohio Educator Preparation Programs Survey. The ODHE discontinued the survey due to a low response rate at the end of the 2017-2018 academic year. In collaboration with other Ohio Educator Preparation Programs, the 全网所有信誉网赌网址 School of 教育 began collecting employer data using 一项新的雇主调查 in the 2020-2021 academic year. These data are available for Measure 2.

Stakeholder feedback and involvement

The School of 教育 has an 教育 Advisory Council that includes key stakeholders from urban and suburban districts and across multiple disciplines that meet twice a year to share feedback. Minutes and agendas from these meetings, as well as district MOUs are reviewed annually.

Ohio Resident Educator Program

The Resident Educator program is a four- year comprehensive mentoring and professional development program. The Resident Educator data provided shows the persistence of hired 全网所有信誉网赌网址 graduates through the program at various schools.
